    It was sdiscussed in the early meeting sof Mattachine and at mmost community/movement meetings since-when times are bad, economically especially, citizens will seek someone or group to sue as scapegoats, and harry Hay and others since warned that we had to be prepared. I think the academic community, much less the political community needs to ask this question-why indeed is there no backlash against the court decision, and was not against the sodomy decision (Lawrence v TX)>

    does it mean we have educated citizens so that they know the truth and jwill ignore bigots, and the bull they hear on Fox news? It may actually be that Tea party people are not bigots but are sincere in seeking to solve financial issues. They are seeking easy solutions and think that going backwards to a “better time” will help wen there was no better time. We must solve our problems and get accountability. The fuss at obama is ok, but why was there none against Bush father and son and certainly Reagan? that is where the hypocrisy comes in.
