    Thanks for the link to the article about early Christians having same sex marriage. But the best thought is in the comments-the man says he tried to stop his son from getting a marriage license-as was said in the book Jude The Obscure-my addition-because a piece of paper doens’t prove love, etc. The wise answer from the son was-yes, but with the license I get cheaper drivers and car licenses, etc.

    THAT is why we deserve marriage. And the other argument about if early saints, male, married is unimportant, we enable religion by arguing over nonsense. Our rights don’t depend on religious approval or even a vote by the majority. Hopefully someday idiots like Scalia will grasp this, or die soon-but then there may be young Scalias coming on, so we have to keep vigilant and fight and educate for our rights..
