The repeal of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ is on it’s way of becoming reality.

On Tuesday, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Adm. Mike Mullen, chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will testify before the Senate Armed Services Committee on the policy – the first such Senate hearings since the policy was enacted. They will explain how the military will implement the plan. There is a possiblity that the discharges may cease and a full repeal by the end of the year.
